The Cobain In Me

We all have a little Cobain inside
You know that really dark place that you try to hide
Holding all the sadness and pain
We were put through
When I was kid I never thought
I'd be just like you
Growing out of the pain
Is a lesson that you can't teach
So I write, live, and fly to practice what I preach

We all have a little Marilyn inside
You know that really fragile girl that cries and cries
A bright lonely star
Living in the thought of finding true love
Praying every night to god above
Needing to be accepted and set free
I see your reflection when I look at me
So I sing, act, and bleed to become what the world needs
