Sad as a blue flower in a rose field

Sad as one person in pouring rain

Sad as a heart in shatters
Sad as an abandon movie set
Sad as no story to tell
Sad as the last farewell

Sad as being abandoned
Sad as dying alone
Sad as never fitting in
Sad as this poem's end

Sad as a new day all the same
Sad as never being free
Sad as losing life's game
Sad as heaven being ripped away

Sad as an invisible rainbow
Sad as never finding the sun's rays
