Story Telling

In a forest of purple and pink trees
A gaze of wonder leaves me
I was skipping to town from the hills
Exploring a new path with many thrills

The berries fall from the tree
I am on bent knee
I eat them one by one
My face is burnt from the sun

I'm stuck on the ground
It's a long way from town
A thought of home passes through
Where have the rabbits gone to?

Even though I must'nt stay
Something won't break me away
This mystic land I know well
Isn't of peace like in the fairy tales

A shadow is cast down from above
I hear the humming of doves
Panic strikes me real fast
Moving will be a tricky task

Finally I'm able to run
Some awful music has begun
My time has come to near
How did I even get here

I wake up in my bed
Could that adventure be in my head
It felt to alive to be a dream
I'm blinded by a white beam
